Terms of service

Draft pending legal review. It describes how BeqSpark works today and may be reworded before launch.

In short

  • Plans renew automatically until you cancel; cancelling takes one click in Billing.
  • You can withdraw within 14 days and pay only for what you used.
  • Your content stays yours, and we don't train AI on it.
  • AI results can be wrong: check anything important.

01Who we are

BeqSpark is provided by BEQODIA LTD (“we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use the BeqSpark extension, website and dashboard. Contact us at hello@beqspark.com.

02The service

BeqSpark is a browser extension and web dashboard that brings AI to the text you select on web pages: it explains, summarizes and translates it, answers questions about it, helps you rewrite and correct your own writing and put it back in place, reads text from the screen, reads text aloud, and helps you study words and pronunciation. Features may differ by plan, as shown on the pricing page.

03Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use BeqSpark.
  • An account is for one person. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us if you think someone else used it.
  • You are responsible for what is done with your account.

04Plans, credits and prices

  • Prices are in US dollars (USD) and are shown on the pricing page and before you pay.
  • Each plan includes credits every month. Actions use credits according to what they cost to run; failed requests are not charged. Monthly credits end with the period they belong to; yearly plans receive their credits month by month.
  • The Free plan includes 50 credits each calendar month.
  • Top-up credits stay valid for 12 months from purchase and are used after monthly credits.
  • Upgrading takes effect immediately; once the prorated charge is paid you receive the difference in credits for the rest of the period. Downgrading immediately removes the unused difference for the rest of the period.
  • We tell you about any price change at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before then.

05Payment and automatic renewal

Payments are processed by Stripe. Before you pay, you confirm that paid plans renew automatically every month or year at the price shown until you cancel. We email you before each yearly renewal, and once a year before a monthly plan renews.

If a payment fails, your plan stays active while Stripe retries; if it keeps failing, the subscription ends and you move to the Free plan.

06Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds

You can cancel at any time with the Cancel subscription button in Billing. Your plan stays until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew.

You can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. Because you asked us to start straight away, you pay for what you used and we refund the rest. The full rules are in our refunds and cancellation policy, which is part of these terms.

07Acceptable use

Don't use BeqSpark to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including copyright and privacy;
  • create content that is abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative or that promotes violence;
  • attack, overload, probe or reverse engineer the service, or get around its limits;
  • use automated scripts to call the service, or resell or share access to it.

We may limit requests to keep the service fair and available for everyone.

08Your content

Text you select and what BeqSpark produces for you remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. We don't use your content to train AI models.

09AI results

AI answers, translations, summaries and pronunciation scores are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Check anything important, and don't rely on BeqSpark for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

10Our rights

The BeqSpark software, name, logo and design belong to BEQODIA LTD. You may use them only to use the service under these terms.

11Availability and changes

We work to keep BeqSpark available and improving, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted. We may change or retire features; if a change takes away something you paid for, we tell you in advance and you can cancel.

12Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you where we reasonably can. If we close an account without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.

13Liability

BeqSpark is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

14Legal and export restrictions

You may not use BeqSpark where it is prohibited by law, including in countries or by people subject to sanctions or export restrictions that apply to us or our providers.

15Promotions

We offer no promotions at the moment. Any future promotion, discount or trial will state its own terms where you accept it.

16Changes to these terms

We tell you by email and in the dashboard at least 30 days before a change that affects you. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it applies.

17Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the country where BEQODIA LTD is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly by email.
